About

Over two decades Archetype Associates, previously Parvardin Associates, was born out of the collective experience of creating modern, humane buildings in sensitive locations in London.

We aim to take our clients on a journey by turning a brief of what is required into what is also desired. An architectural synthesis based on clear analysis and understanding of the end user’s requirements.

The practice has designed a wide range of buildings, high quality bespoke refurbishments on residential buildings, many of which were listed, new built, some on green belt and commercial buildings. An expanding portfolio has lead to broad range of commissions large and small scale, building relationship with clients, consultants and contractors.

The office has extensive experience in planning, architectural design and interior design, as well as working on heritage buildings and restorations. The practice is actively designing environmentally friendly buildings, following the new standard set by BRE. Our projects are environmentally responsible and central to our design approach in a holistic interpretation of sustainability that embraces environmental, social and economic dimension. We have experience in design and build construction.

The practice has full PI insurance, details of which can be made available to prospective clients.

Masoud Parvardin is the director and, with two associates and various project architects, is based at the practice in London.
